Jayme-Leigh O'Kane

Owner

I was born January 1st, 1998 in Littleton NH. I lived in NH throughout my childhood until I moved to East Ryegate with my husband Joseph. I started my first child care job in 2013 and since then I have had multiple jobs as a child care provider for children ages 6 weeks though 14 years of age. This experience includes children on the autism spectrum, children with ADHD, and children that were delayed in speech. In the year 2016 I got my first job at a preschool as a teachers assistant. Since then I have worked at several schools working with pre-k through 4th grade students. I am currently attending Northern Vermont University with a major in Elementary Education.

Joseph O'Kane

Assistant Provider

I was born May 2nd 1992 in Randolph Massachusetts but I grew up in Ellsworth Maine. I attending college at Maine Maritime Academy and received a bachelors degree. After graduating I accepted a job offer at Ryegate Power Station and moved to East Ryegate Vermont. I am currently working shift work as a control room supervisor. During my time at MMA I took extensive training in water and boating safety and I am a qualified emergency response personnel. As part of my training I am qualified in fire safety and I am First Aid/CPR certified. I am a member of the American Heart Association, I am a HAM operator, I was a member of the community emergency response team, and I was a member of the Hancock Animal Response Team.
